The Buffalo zoo is the second oldest zoo in the country, then it was originally constructed in 1874 plus is situated on Parkside Aplace.
It is second only to Niagara Falls as a tourist attraction in Western NY, and around 400,000 people visit the Buffalo zoo every year, however despite the weather extremes, the zoo remains open all year round, however from the end of September to early December they hold an annual event called Zoo Lights! The zoo stays open after seconds plus is illuminated with a wide variety of light displays.
If there is snow on the ground, it looks adore a Winter time wonderland. There’s also a Happy Holidays Express train that is a fun way to travel around the grounds. They also play holiday music plus offer moderate treats such as hot chocolate plus s’mores. The kids can visit with Santa or have their picture taken with the Ice Princesses! My husband plus I were really excited to take the kids. The people I was with and I had visited the zoo while I was in the summer time plus it was a good experience. My kid just loved the monkey plus our child was ecstatic with the aquarium, and our biggest complaint was the heat plus humidity. It was a relief to check out the reptile condo because it was nice plus cool. The people I was with and I planned our Zoo Lights excursion for the Last weekin September. The people I was with and I assumed the weather wouldn’t be too freezing that early in the season. The people I was with and I had to buy the tickets ahead, so there was no increasing our plans. The day of our trip to the zoo, a freezing front hit the Buffalo area plus the temperature dropped down to 12 degrees. It was snowing plus the window was blowing. The people I was with and I couldn’t keep warm. It was horrible.
