Winter weather is tough

The University of CO has a lot of strange locations, however I decided to attend the Denver location because of the Winter sports skiing program, however i have been skiing since I was 6 years old, however my dad was on the Olympic ski jumping team and he introduced me to the sport when I was very young.

  • When snowboarding became a huge sensation, I immediately switched from skis to a single board.

I almost qualified for the X Games when I was 16 years old, but the University of CO offered me a scholarship if I joined their Winter sports program. I spent several years at UC of Denver and after that I decided to complete our master’s program in a strange state. I only lived there for a couple of months and I missed Denver. I missed the cold air and the altitude. I missed the mild climate in the summer; As soon as I finished with our Master’s Degree, I decided to transfer back to Denver. I never qualified for the X Games, however I still continue to ski and snowboard with our wife and our youngsters. The two of us all like the Winter sports and it is 1 of the reasons why both of us continue to live in CO. There are plenty of places around the country where I could gain more money, however there is something special about the mile high city. The people and the atmosphere are equally nice. There are also a number of museums, parks, restaurants, bars, and activities for the whole family. It’s easy to fall in like with the city.
