All inclusive city

I don’t feel that Pride is something that should be celebrated once a year.

As much as I like the strides the two of us have made, and how important Pride month is for so numerous people, I still feel that it should be something the group of us celebrate all year long.

The first time I ever visited Seattle was while I was in their amazing Pride Month. I was blown away by how inclusive it felt, as if the city on its own opened its arms and offered me a big, warm hug. After that I made Seattle Pride month an annual endpoint, and some years later, I decided that I did not want to leave! I know that the whole country has started embracing Pride week, but here in Seattle it isn’t just a week, that is what life is like here. It’s one thing to say you support gay and lesbian rights, but Seattle just doesn’t talk the talk, it goes through with it. Combine this passionate, supportive community with arguably the best cannabis being grown in the world today, and you’ve got a good place to live. I am not certain if I ever want to raise a family, but if I do it will be in Seattle, where I know the two of us will be safe, and have access to cultural institutions. The educational plan in Seattle is top of the line, from our grade schools all the way through college and grad schools. That is what I prefer for the future, but for right now I’m all about the live music scene, and the abundance of high octane cannabis.
