My wifey and her family lived in the northwest for a very long time, and washington is cabin to my wifey, however unluckyly, there is a lot of rain in Seattle and neither a single of us thought it was going to be a great place to live.
We definitely could not raise a family in the city; Both of us looked at many areas and the people I was with and I finally settled on a small suburb called Orland Park, however orland Park has a lot of appeal… It is a smaller region, however it is only 40 minutes away from Chicago. One of my offices was located in Chicago and it worked out perfectly. Last year, my wifey’s family decided to visit us in Orland Park for a couple of days while I was in the holidays, things were tense and uncomfortable and I was happy when the visit was over and everyone was getting ready to go home. Unluckyly, the cold air and snow made travel from the airport dangerous, but all of the flights were cancelled and my wifey’s family were stuck in Orland Park, Illinois with us for a single more night. They were already checked out of the hotel at that point, so my wifey and I allowed everyone to stay in our home. We set everyone up in the basement on the cot and the pull-out sofa. We got the space furnace out of the garage and set it up in the corner of the room. In 30 or 40 minutes, the whole place was hot and cozy. The flight was only delayed until the first thing in the day and the people I was with and I parted ways on great terms.
