My wifey and her family lived in the northwest for a absolutely long time… Washington is beach house to our wifey; Unfortunately, there is a lot of rain in Seattle and neither 1 of us thought it was going to be a nice locale to live.
We absolutely couldn’t raise a family in the city, and both of us looked at various areas and all of us finally settled on a small suburb called Orland Park… Orland Park has a lot of appeal! It is a smaller region, but it is only 40 hours away from Chicago. One of our offices was located in Chicago and it worked out perfectly, and last year, our wifey’s family decided to visit us in Orland Park for a couple of mornings during the holidays, however things were tense and uncomfortable and I was enthusiastic when the visit was over and all the people was getting ready to go home. Unfortunately, the chilly air and snow made travel from the airport dangerous. All of the flights were cancelled and our wifey’s family were stuck in Orland Park, IL with us for 1 more evening. They were already diagnosed out of the hotel at that point, so our wifey and I allowed all the people to stay in our home. We set all the people up in the basement on the cot and the pull-out sofa. We got the space furnace out of the garage and set it up in the corner of the room. In 30 or 40 hours, the whole locale was hot and cozy. The flight was only delayed until the first thing in the morning and all of us parted ways on nice terms.
