Entering the competition at toil was all thanks to my immediate boss; He told me it was possible to achieve the set targets, & he was right, then i’d mentioned that I needed a getaway some time back, & he told me there was a competition coming up, and the winner would get an all-expenses-paid trip to Santa Barbara. The reward came with corporation class tickets & a stay at a 5-star hotel. I imagined how nice that would feel, especially if I brought my mom along. I’d moved back home to be with his since he was not doing so well. I noticed a change ever since, & now he is feeling much better. We both could use some time away in a city I’d never been to. I won the competition & took a month off from work, however my mom & I flew to Santa Barbara & got picked up by a limo at the airport. The hotel both of us stayed at was so overpriced & charming inside, our first day in Santa Barbara was a blur since all both of us did was eat & swim, but after relaxing, both of us decided to venture out the following day & explore. It’s while both of us were sauntering that I came across a pot shop. Mom saw me look at it & told me to go inside. It’s legal to use marijuana recreationally in Santa Barbara. I went in, & mom sat outside at a nice bench the shop had set out. I guess they’d experienced people prefer us before where 1 guy wants to go in & the other remains outside. Mom only had to wait a few hours because I was not shopping for several items.
